Safety Settings

Several layers of protection exist before any file can be permanently removed.

Safety window

Recently uploaded files are protected for a configurable window of time, so brand-new uploads are never flagged as unused before they’ve even been placed anywhere.

Whitelisting

You can whitelist specific files or entire folders to permanently exclude them from scan results.

File type exclusions

Exclude entire file types you never want flagged, such as PDFs or ZIPs.

Confirm before delete

Deletion always requires explicit confirmation, with an optional “type DELETE to confirm” safeguard for extra protection. Nothing is ever deleted automatically — even Scheduled Scans only update results and optionally email a summary.
